I have been so very blessed to work on such an incredible team at school this year. We're all getting tossed around next year...but this year was wonderful.
At the beginning of May, my team threw me a shower for the teachers and staff. It was amazing. The theme was "Things that Pop". They had Pop/Coke, three types of Popcorn, Snap Crackle Pop Rice Krispie Treats, Blow Pops, Queso with a "Pop", and Eyepoppingly good Spinach Dip. Some of them definitely share the same passion for creativity that I do. :)
Here are some pictures from the shower. We received so many wonderful gifts and we appreciate each and every one of them. Some of the pictures of me are horrendous--I look like a moose in white pants. The reason I'm posting them is because you can see the happiness on my face, and I love that. In most pictures, I put on a nice little fake smile...but apparently I couldn't hide how genuinely happy I really was.

The letters and cross are in the hallway where we will have the chair and ottoman. She already has her own little shrine. :) We plan on putting a little night stand with a lamp next to the chair.
