Several weeks ago my sister, sister in law, good friend, and mother in law hosted a shower for me and Harper at my mother in law's house in Uptown. It was absolutely incredible. They did such an incredible job. There were so many small details that made it beautiful...and perfect. I am so incredibly thankful to have these women in my life. There's a chance Harper is going to be slightly spoiled. :)

Quick update...and a few random things.
Not a lot has changed the past few weeks. We're in the process of getting all the clothes, sheets, blankets, and miscellaneous items washed and put away. For those of you who know me know that I'm a freak about organizing. Nothing is ever organized enough. This is a problem. I'm trying to find a way to put everything away but to still be able to access it easily. When I figure it out, I'll let you know. :)
I can't believe that I will be 30 weeks tomorrow. Holy cow, this is all going by so quickly! I feel like I'm going to wake up tomorrow and sweet girl will be here. Ahhhh!
We had maternity pictures taken two weeks ago. I can't wait to see them. I'm not thrilled about seeing myself...but moreso about seeing the bump. I'll post some when we get them. We also did a 3D/4D sonogram last weekend. It was AMAZING! Such a miracle. I will post more about that soon.
We're putting final touches on the room right now. For Mother's Day, my mom got us the white rocking chair--it should be in next week. I can't wait until I can sit and relax in her room. Mom also bought us a beautiful chandelier for the room. I think that will tie it all together and make it just about perfect. I can't wait to see it put up. Will post pictures of that as well.
In the meantime, here are a few pictures of the room since I last posted.
Ribbon Wreath (The one Danny's mom bought will go on HG's door.
This one will go on our front door when she gets here.)
Homemade Sign
Danny and I prayed this verse was many times before we found out we were pregnant. It is a very special verse for us that carries so much meaning. I wasn't ever able to find a cross that I liked that has this verse...so I made my own. We've began praying for her long before she was "real".
The bow board in action. This might change a little bit because I
need to get some more hooks to hang more headbands/bows on.
