The Next YouTube Sensation

I think my husband might be the next YouTube sensation.

Last week while I was reading the second book of The Hunger Games (this series is AMAZING/addicting, by the way), I started to feel Harper move. Normally when I feel her and Danny is around, I put his hand in the same place I just felt her to see if he can feel it too. No luck so far. Until last Wednesday night. :)

He was only able to feel her once, but it was such a special moment. He got so excited. His face lit up and I think at that point I think it all became real (other than the fact that his wife is getting larger by the minute). He then waited to feel her again with no such luck. So he decided he should sing to her, maybe that will wake her up. He laid his head on my stomach and talked to her for a while and then broke out into a Disney medley. I would give anything to have that moment on tape. I'm trying to con him into doing it again so I can record it. I would LOVE to have that saved.

It turns out he doesn't know the words to many Disney songs. He started out strong with just about every song, and then quick started struggling, which led to intense humming. He sang Hakuna Matada, Magic Carpet Ride, the Circle of Life, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight. I'm hoping I'll have a video to post pretty soon. You will be in for a treat. :)

It's pretty clear that we between the two of us, we have absolutely NO musical ability at all. Nothing. However, I'm sure his little girl loved it. I can see many bedtime songs about a year or two from now. I can hear her now, "Daddy, sing me another song!" I can't wait to hear that. He's already wrapped around her little fingers.

On a side note, her bedding finally came in! It felt like we've been waiting forever...but it's finally here. And it is absolutely GORGEOUS. At least I think it is. :) I fall in love with it all over again every time I see it. It is beautiful. I can't wait to get the room painted. We'll be starting that soon--Friday actually. We're both off for Good Friday...so we're going to get started with her room. We're going to put a chair rail up. We've never done this before, so we'll see how it goes. I'm hoping for a good outcome. :)

I had an appointment last week and got to see our sweet girl. We didn't get too many pictures, but we got one to serve as proof that there is still nothing between the legs and another that I absolutely love. She has both of her hands covering her face. I'd love to see her sweet fact, but it's such a cute picture.

Proof!

Hiding her sweet face. :)
