A little background about my doctor--Dr. Chris Riegel. He and my mom went to high school together and have always been close friends. They go way back...a long time. I was born while he was in medical school, but he reconnected with my mom when I was three. He delivered my brother and sister. Long story short, she has worked for him as a medical assistant the past couple years. I have gone to him for almost 10 years, but I will say that I enjoy seeing him much more now than before. I look forward to seeing my baby every time I'm at his office...rather than him invading my space. :)
I'm not sure if he feels obligated to take a lot of pictures for me because my mom works for him, or because he's known me for so long...but either way, I'm SO thankful for that. Every time I leave his office, I leave with a hand full of pictures of baby.
He let me come in a couple days before Christmas so that I could get a more recent sonogram to include in the gift for our parents and grandparents. Thank you, Chris. :) The pictures below are at 8 weeks and 5 days.
