Either way, OU came in and completely dominated every aspect of the game. It's okay, I suppose. I will say that I'm not nearly as invested as when Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley were there. I absolutely loved watching them play. Now that they're gone, I'm just not as obsessed. I'm okay with that, because now there's a little person I like to focus on. :)
Amy (Nana), my mom (Lolli), and Lexi came over to watch the game and love on the little girl. Regardless of the outcome, we had a wonderful day and really enjoyed our time together. The little girl was confused. She didn't know who she was rooting for. In the end, I suppose if she could talk, she would have been shouting "Boomer Sooner." As long as she's not saying "Gig'Em," I'm okay with it.
She wasn't as thrilled about wearing the coordinating tutus as her mom was. We got a few cute pictures, but we'll have to try again next weekend. :) Either way, this girl keeps us smiling and laughing all the time. We are so blessed!
Poor little girl was confused.
That little face melts my heart!
Resting with Nana before the beating game.
The game wasn't so great, but the cookies sure were delicious.
They helped ease the devastation a little bit. :)
A little taste of heaven.
House Divided
Mama's Little Longhorn
Lolli and her little Longhorn.
Probably teaching her to say "Boomer."
Resting
She obviously wasn't watching the game. :)
Smiles for Nana
Love these girls, especially in burnt orange.
I suppose she was disappointed with the outcome. ;) We'll go with that...
Daddy, Nana, and Little Punkin in Crimson
Nana and Harper
Harper's handmade dance bag from Nana's friend, Connie.
Thank you Connie, we will always treasure this precious gift.
I love this--she really looks interested. :)
Her eyes were glued to the TV. Go Tech?
I'm still in shock at the outcome of that game.
Still Focused
Little girl was trying to disguise herself after that terrible showing by the Horns.
